Where do you turn to for help when you are dealing with blindness or vision impairment that cannot be corrected with contact lenses or eyeglasses & when there are no other avenues to pursue medically or surgically?

The answer is Vision Rehabilitation Services of Georgia (VRS). Since 1983, we have been teaching people who are visually impaired or blind how to adapt to their vision loss so that they may function independently in school, work, and everyday life.

  • First, VRS will conduct a comprehensive Low Vision Examination (administered by one of our low vision specialists).
  • Next, VRS will walk you through a wide array of proven techniques to help you maximize your usable vision – with the goal of living independently in your environment.
